Tristan Lynas trained with Poe Kiely Hogan Lanigan, and qualified as a solicitor in 2010. He operates in the Litigation Department, and has gained extensive Courts experience, including District, Circuit and High Courts.
He has gained extensive experience in family law, licencing law, employment law and criminal defence, including successfully defending cases of white collar crime. He works extensively with the Child and Family Agency, with clients in the licenced trade, and with County Councils.
Tristan is a consummate team player, and brings this strength to advantage in a range of court situations. Clients appreciate his very friendly and approachable manner, and he gains satisfaction from helping them understand the legal issues in a clear and relevant way.
Tristan has defended a number of high profile criminal cases in the superior courts.
He previously lectured in licencing law.

Tristan obtained a BA in University College Dublin, and a post graduate diploma in law from Dublin Institute of Technology.
He also qualified for the Law Society of Ireland Certificate in Criminal Litigation, and holds an Advanced Diploma in White Collar crime.
Tristan is past captain and current Chairman of Kilkenny Hockey Club.
